Chillaroo: A Chilla Vista Send Off

Sunday June Third was a slightly overcast, but warm and beautiful day in Isla Vista, perfect for the Chilla Vista Festival. It was the first opportunity the I had to Show off the Moishe Mobile to an enthusiastic crowd. Armed with the captain's hat and some killer shades I proudly displayed the inner workings of our Lovecraft Vegetable oil conversion. At first a was a little shy, but after a little Rouge hazelnut brown ale and some practice I was on fire. By the middle of the day I was describing the intricacies beneath the hood of the bus, explaining how the coolant lines actually heated the fuel to make it less viscous so it can pass easily through the fuel lines and into engine and how that bypass lines allow fuel to flow back to the tank when necessary.

I also had the pleasure of meeting the ever so lovely Molly Prentiss. Joe, Molly and spent some time wandering around the festival meeting old friends and getting to know each other. It was a wonderful introduction and I can't wait to get on the road with such wonderful people.
